Caring for Your Robusto Eyewear

Take care of them and they'll take care of you. Here's how to keep your Robusto glasses in top shape.

1. Everyday Clean

  • Rinse your lenses and frame under lukewarm water first to wash away dust, dirt, or grit.

  • Use a proper lens cleaning spray, or a drop of mild soap (dish soap is fine)

  • Gently wipe both sides of the lens, the frame, nose pads, and temple tips with a clean microfibre cloth.

  • Dry with a fresh section of the cloth, or let them air dry.

Rinsing first matters more than it sounds, wiping dry lenses can grind dust into the surface and cause fine scratches.

2. What to Avoid

  • Paper towel or dirty rags, they feel soft but can scratch lenses over time.

  • Household glass cleaners, ammonia, or bleach-based products - these can strip lens coatings.

  • Alcohol or acetone-based cleaners 

  • Hot water, direct sun, or leaving your glasses in a hot car.

  • If your lenses come into contact with chlorine, salt water, sunscreen, or hairspray, rinse them with water as soon as you can.

3. Storage

  • Keep your glasses in the supplied pouch or case when you're not wearing them — this is the easiest way to avoid scratches.

  • Avoid leaving them loose in a bag, pocket, or toolbox where they can get crushed or scratched by other gear.

  • Don't leave them in direct sunlight or a hot car for long periods.
